Mechelle Lamb

A lifelong native of the Charlotte Metro area, Mechelle brings both local insight and heartfelt compassion to her role as Estate Director. Based in Gastonia, she first discovered her passion for estate sales in her twenties—an interest that naturally led her to Clover Collections.

With a degree from Winthrop University and a background in social work, she has spent years supporting individuals and families through major life transitions. At Clover, she continues that mission—helping clients navigate estate sales with kindness, empathy, and a steady hand. Her calm, thoughtful approach eases stress and creates a smooth experience for every family she serves.

Our Services

At Clover Collections, we offer a range of tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of each client and estate. Whether you’re downsizing, handling a loved one’s belongings, or clearing out a home quickly, we’re here to help every step of the way.

Estate Sales

We specialize in professionally managed in-home estate sales. Our team handles every detail—from pricing and staging to staffing and checkout. Depending on the situation (such as HOA restrictions or limited parking), we can adapt the format to include appointment-only sales or scheduled pick-up events.

Buyouts

If a full estate sale isn’t the right fit—whether due to a smaller number of items or a quicker timeline—we offer buyouts. This means we’ll make a fair cash offer for the contents and take care of the removal, offering a fast and straightforward solution.

Clearouts

We also provide estate clearouts, either after a sale (ours or another company’s) or when the remaining items don’t warrant a full sale or buyout. This service is perfect for clients who simply need the space emptied quickly and efficiently.

Online Auctions

In cases where an in-person sale isn’t practical or certain items are better suited for a broader audience, we offer online auctions. These can be set up with one-day local pickup or customized to fit specific needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No—Clover provides all the equipment needed to stage your estate beautifully. This includes tables, clothing racks, display shelving, and professional signage. You won’t need to lift a finger or rent a thing.

  • Yes! We regularly work with out-of-town executors and can handle everything remotely. As long as we have access to the home and a signed agreement, we’ll manage the entire process on your behalf.

  • In addition to full estate‑sale management, we offer:

    • Clean‑out and donation coordination
    • Optional junk‑removal referrals
    • Referrals to vetted real‑estate agents if the home is going on the market

  • You don’t need to clean or organize anything—that’s our job! However, we do ask that you remove or clearly label any items you plan to keep so they’re not mistakenly sold. This includes personal documents, photographs, family heirlooms, and other items of sentimental value.

  • The initial walk‑through is casual and informative. We’ll tour the home together, assess what’s available for sale, answer any questions you have, and explain our process. This helps us determine whether an estate sale is the best solution and gives you peace of mind as you move forward.

  • No—the consultation is completely free. There’s no obligation, and it’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine whether the home is a good fit for an estate sale.

  • Simply remove or label any items you want to keep before we sign the contract. If something can’t be moved right away, we’ll mark it clearly and make sure it’s not included in the sale. Communication is key, and we’re happy to work with your family to make the process as smooth as possible.

  • We recommend waiting—items that may seem less valuable to you could actually be highly desirable to collectors or other shoppers. Our team knows how to price and present everything to achieve the best return. If you’re unsure about anything, we’ll advise you during the walk‑through.

  • That’s perfectly fine—we’ll tag or tape off any “do not sell” items to ensure they’re protected during the sale. These items are typically placed in a designated room or area that is closed off to the public.

  • It all starts with a quick consultation. Once we confirm that your home is a good fit, we’ll schedule the sale and map out the timeline. From there, our team handles all preparation, pricing, staging, marketing, and event hosting—you won’t have to worry about a thing.
